Baby Girl Newborn Session in studio – Coleman, MI
An adorable little one who looks so much like her older sister and surprised her mom and dad by entering the world early!
If you want to take a peek at mama’s Maternity session, you can check out that blog post here.
Most newborn shoots are done indoors in my studio for a couple reasons.
- I provide everything for a newborn session. Headbands, wraps, blankets, hats, clothing, props…. I got you. I have everything within arms reach set up in my “newborn room” in my studio. Super convenient and makes sessions run so much easier.
- My studio is climate controlled. Even though I’m sweating to death, baby is sleeping and is happy as can be in my 80 degree atmosphere. Remember, babies are used to being in mama’s womb…. which is much much warmer than 80 degrees!
That said, I LOVE when the weather is appropriate outside (very warm, minimal wind, no crazy bugs) and I can take a little newbie out! We grabbed this shot of Macey just down the road from my studio near Coleman’s awesome Community Garden. In person, this spot didn’t look like much, but I saw that little pocket of light and knew I could create from it!
FYI: If you’re interested in knowing more about Coleman’s Community Garden, you can check out their Facebook page here. It’s so cool when a community can come together and create something that benefits everyone.
